In Hungary, agricultural sciences have always played an important role in both scientific and practical life. In our journal, we aim to publish domestic and international works related to the following areas: agricultural engineering; agricultural economics, rural economics and rural development; animal science and nutrition; food science; plant, water, and environmental science; fisheries, applied zoology, and nature conservation; precision farming.
In addition to publishing the results of experimental work, we also offer the opportunity to write review articles on a given topic. We plan to publish works that stimulate debate and support the publication of young researchers.
The scientific journal is published by Széchenyi István University, Albert Kázmér Mosonmagyaróvár Faculty. The most recent editors of the journal were renowned experts: Zoltán Varga, associate professor (2007-2014), Éva Szalka, associate professor (2015-2023).
It is published twice a year: in June and December.
