About the journal
The scientific journal Acta Agronomica Óváriensis was founded in 1993 and has been published online since 2016.
Mission statement
The journal provides a platform for the scientific activities of the most talented students and doctoral candidates who are eager to conduct research, supporting the work of teachers and researchers. In addition to publishing research results, we consider it important for university teachers and researchers to familiarize students with the purpose and methods of scientific work.
Keywords
Depending on the following scientific fields (agricultural engineering; agricultural economics, rural economics and rural development; animal science and nutrition; food science; plant, water and environmental science; fisheries, applied zoology and nature conservation, precision farming), 4-5 words, e.g. farm animals, nutritional requirements, feed value, feed ingredients, product quality.

Frequency of publication
The journal publishes two regular issues per year and may also publish special issues. Individual articles may be published in "In Press" status prior to the publication of the regular issue.
Peer review
The journal uses a double-blind peer review process. Submitted manuscripts are reviewed by two anonymous peer reviewers.
Financial conditions
The publisher does not charge authors for reviewing submitted manuscripts or for publishing them if accepted. The journal provides immediate open access to its content, allowing free and legal reuse of scientific results without financial or legal restrictions.
Free access rights
The journal is Open Access (Platinum/Diamond). Its articles are subject to the following type of Creative Commons 4.0 standard license: CC-BY-NC-ND-4.0. This means that the work may be freely copied, distributed, displayed, and performed, but may not be used for commercial purposes (NC), nor may it be modified or adapted into derivative works (ND). Under the license, the author's name and the title of the work must be indicated in the manner specified by the author or the rights holder (BY).
The journal allows authors to publish their manuscripts, including those accepted by the editorial board and even those containing reviewers' corrections, but not yet in their final form (pre-print versions), without any time restrictions and free of charge (via e-mail, on the author's or institution's website, or in the author's institution's or university's closed or unrestricted repository, or on other non-profit servers). When the author distributes their work in this way, they must warn their readers that the manuscript in question is not the final, published version of the work. If the final version of the article has already been published in print or online, it is definitely recommended and permitted for the author to use this (post-print) version. In this case, the author must provide the exact location and details of the journal publication. The author retains the copyright to the publication, but in the event of republication, the bibliographic details of the article's first publication must also be provided.

Privacy statement
The names and e-mail addresses provided to the editorial office are for internal use only and will only be used for the purposes specified by the user; they will not be disclosed to third parties.
Publication ethics guidelines
The editors of Acta Agronomica Óváriensis continuously monitor and comply with the rules of publication ethics. If necessary, the editorial board corrects press errors and publishes clarifications and corrections, provided that their content is true and does not contain plagiarism.
Plagiarism screening
Authors must guarantee that the study is their own original intellectual work, and if they have used the work or expressions of others, they must cite them appropriately and refer to them professionally. All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening.
Advertising policy
Acta Agronomica Óváriensis does not publish advertisements.
